Comprehensive
Dermatology at Akkadian Health involves a thorough and extensive examination and diagnosis across two (2) separate services. The first service is a 20 minute face-to-face physical examination by an Akkadian Health nurse (at our Care Centre), while the second is an online telehealth session with an experienced dermatologist for your diagnosis and treatment plan.
Our telehealth dermatology sessions are conducted by highly experienced, registered dermatologists in Australia.

Things You Need to Know Before Proceeding
Accessing the service
Dermatology services are only available via referral from your GP. Simply send us your referral letter to arrange an appointment.
Valid Referrals
Referrals must be addressed to 'Akkadian Health'. They must contain sufficient information about your medical history and presenting complaint.
Please note: We will need your Medicare Number for Medicare benefits associated with Dermatology services. If you are not registered for Medicare in Australia or you are accessing Dermatology services under self-referral, you will be required to pay the full private fees as Medicare rebates will not apply.
