Akkadian Health was founded in 2020 by a group of like-minded psychiatrists, technologists and business leaders with a shared mission to make a lasting impact on mental health care across Australia. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of individuals, providing a wide range of services, from general psychiatry and adult ADHD assessments to ADHD coaching and psychology.
Our mission is simple — improve mental health outcomes for everyday Australians.
We are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care through innovative telehealth services, making mental health support accessible for everyone, no matter where they are.

Managing Director
Stefan co-founded Akkadian Health to bring much needed high-quality healthcare to rural and regional Australia. He has over 10 years of experience in developing and leading private and publicly listed life science and technology companies.
John Fouyaxis

Head of Technology
John has spent over 20 years building leading-edge digital technologies. His strong commitment to innovation and passion for mental health guides his leadership of Akkadian Health’s scalable digital solutions, business systems and technical strategy.
Penny Heinrich

Penny brings extensive experience in healthcare and people management. She leads organisational direction, strengthens culture, and ensures high-quality service delivery to support patients and maximise Akkadian Health’s impact.

The Akkadian Health Medical Advisory Group is responsible for the governance, overall direction and oversight of the clinical team. They meet regularly under the coordination of the Clinical Director to review and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and high quality care to our patients and to continuously improve our services.
